Using a grasshopper definition to generate the steel lattice

After talking with an Engineer about how to support our structure I came up with a steel lattice structure that would sit ontop of the wooden slats. The steel would provide the necessary support for any wind or other forces acting on the structure and the wood would be screwed into this steel structure to be supported, the steel structure will be a lattice of triangles.
These buildings are inspiration to the steel lattice idea, especially the federation square atrium in Melbourne.
